I wound down Fimio in May 2026 after four years, and I am deliberately taking time before deciding what is next rather than rushing into the next thing.
What I am thinking about
- Agent ops — where and how AI agents get tested and deployed, and what new economic models become possible around that infrastructure.
- Craft in software. What it means to make something well when the cost of making it has collapsed.
- Africa's AI moment, and what leapfrogging actually requires beyond capital.
Recently
- Selected by the U.S. State Department for AI diplomacy in Nigeria: keynoted on the future of AI at the University of Lagos, and led responsible-AI training for 300+ staff and students at YABATECH with the U.S. Consulate General.
- Mentored founders across two cohorts of Neo Accelerator.
